What is RiskMan?

We use RiskMan to report any HSE incidents, illnesses, near misses, hazards, security or environmental issues and to provide feedback (compliments and complaints).

If you have an incident, near miss, etc., you should first and immediately discuss it with your manager, who will be in a position to provide you with the support and guidance you require. Incidents are to be reported to your manager within 24 hours.

You can then enter your incident into RiskMan (or someone else can do it on your behalf) – this is to be done within 48 hours.

How do I get access to RiskMan?

  • Access to RiskMan is given to permanent and contracted staff. Short term, casual employees generally do not require access.
  • To get access, contact the HSE Coordinator. They will create a profile for you and provide you with login details.
  • You can access RiskMan via the Aspen Medical Portal or via this link.
  • To access your RiskMan account, you will need to login using the username and password provided to you by the HSE Coordinator.

How to use RiskMan

On Aspen Medical’s Portal training and Online Programs site, you will find both the Incident Reporting and Investigation Training and the Introduction to RiskMan online programs.

What if I don’t qualify for access to RiskMan but want to report something?

If you haven’t been provided with a RiskMan profile but want to report an incident, near miss, etc, you can fill in a hard copy form and forward it to your manager. Please don’t forget to contact your manager within 24 hours of the incident, irrespective of having a RiskMan profile or not.

Your HSE Coordinator can also provide advice if you require support.

Can I provide feedback in relation to HSE? 

In relation to health and safety, you can provide feedback in the form of a complaint, a compliment or a suggestion. 

How do I provide this feedback? 

You can discuss any issue you have with your manager, your Health and Safety Representative, your HSE team or via RiskMan. 

To provide formal feedback, you need to access RiskMan.  

  1. Once in RiskMan, go to My Workspace and select New > Feedback. 
  2. You then simply follow the form through to the end and hit Submit when you’re finished. 

Your HSE Coordinator can also provide advice if you require support.
